What a beautifully appointed apartment, there is everything that is needed. A lovely kitchen which is well equipped.  A comfortable living room and bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space.

Tracey's place is a dream.  An astonishing old castle from the outside and the most beautiful apartment from the inside.  You can feel the joy with which it has been furnished and decorated.  It is one of the cleanest and most welcoming places I have stayed in so far and we would definitely come back.  We can recommend it to everyone who is looking for a unique and lovely stay in beautiful Scotland.

Stay in a historical castle! The Menstrie Castle apartment is beautiful, clean and cozy.  We had a great stay.  Tracey has done a great job on this apartment.  Every small detail has been thought of and we felt truly spoilt.

Tracey you have created something really special here.  The attention to detail shows in every room.  When we arrived and unpacked we didn’t even want to go out, so we didn’t!! We just felt so relaxed and comfortable that we just kicked off our shoes, poured a drink and watched movies.

It’s the little details that make this apartment so welcoming.  The Christmas tree is beautiful, the red plant on the table, the blanket on the sofa, the books about Scotland… It is clear to see that a lot has gone into the design and the monochrome colour scheme with splashes of colours really works wonderfully.  I love the rounded corners of the kitchen appliances and how they all match! I like the all white china and how the cutlery was laid out so intentionally in the drawer one behind the other.

Nothing about this apartment is mindless & although at home I would no way be able to keep my cutlery in such neatness in the drawer, the order and simplicity here is precisely what you need in a holiday house. A place to re-order the mind; the grey colour is perfect for that.  It allows a calming back ground in which to rest and reorganise the mind.  Grey that is sophisticated and assertive without being boring what so ever.  I feel inspired to take some of these ideas back to my own house and have rekindled interest in interior design after seeing such an excellent example. Oh, especially the mirror in the bedroom! What a statement piece.  Everything was comfortable and truly lovely, I certainly got what I came for, thank you.
